TEG-MARKET: the back office of a farmers market, inside your own WordPress site, with unlimited users. A market runs three businesses at once – what it sells itself, the tables it lets to growers and makers, and the goods it takes on consignment – and this keeps all three straight. Every install carries a free 30-day trial with no sign-up. A licence is for one WordPress site; codes are Ed25519-signed and verified offline, so the plugin keeps working if our server is down. When a licence lapses nothing is deleted – every screen stays readable and the data can be exported.

• Vendors, whether they rent a table, leave goods on consignment, or both – with their own commission rate, their own rent, and how they want to be paid.
• Stalls let by the trading day, booked against a market day, with the rent taken off the vendor’s next payout if it is not paid on the morning.
• A till that records who every line belongs to. The owner and the commission are frozen onto the sale line as they stood that day, so a payout worked out in November cannot change because somebody edited a price in July.
• SNAP/EBT and matching-grant tokens, issued at the booth and handed back by vendors. Outstanding tokens are counted as what they are – money taken for tokens still in shoppers’ pockets – and redemptions settle on the vendor’s payout like everything else. No competitor does this at all.
• The payout run: every trader settled at once, with a statement saying exactly what was taken, what was kept and why.
• Vendor insurance and permit expiry watched, so the market is told before somebody trades on a lapsed certificate rather than after.
• Card payments for stall rent through Square, PayPal or Stripe: a vendor gets a link and pays for Saturday’s pitch on Thursday.
• A public page – who is trading, what is for sale, when you are open – and the reports the market and its board need.
• Unlimited users and vendors, on the WordPress you already have, with the data in your own database.

What it is not: there is no online shop, no delivery routing and no card processing of the market’s own takings – the till records what was taken, by whom and when. A market whose main business is online ordering and home delivery should look at Open Food Network, which is free, open source and better at that half of the job. This is for a market that lets pitches on a Saturday and pays everybody out that evening.
